Private lessons are held year-round with breaks for school holidays and a flexible summer schedule. Lessons are scheduled on a day and time when the teacher and student are available. The Theodosis Violin Studio teaches students ages 4-adult, from beginners to advanced students who have completed the Suzuki books and are in professional repertoire. In the private lesson, the student gets a personalized plan to grow in technique and musicality and learns at their own pace.

Formal recitals are held three to four times per school year. Recitals are a mix of solos and group pieces. They are held to share the joy of music with friends and family. The ability to perform is also a great skill that students can take into their adult lives, no matter what their career path turns out to be. The confidence gained from the ability to stand up in front of a crowd of people and perform is invaluable.
Starting in the 2025-26 school year, the TVS will bring a clinician to work with TVS students in a one-day weekend workshop. The workshop will consist of masterclasses, group classes, and a parent education class.
Community outreach concerts are a great opportunity to have more performances and to share our music with the community. In the past, the TVS has performed at retirement homes, before the Oregon Symphony concert, farmers markets, OMSI, the Oregon Zoo,
